some general influences

subject to change

Apart from so much other writing and also music, art, film: travelling on adventures to hot places or places no one really visits much, the sun and light and glittery things, pop, patterns and shapes, instinctiveness, folk tales, the east and west coasts of America, slow motion, DIY, contradiction, Peter Fonda in 1967, what and how, spirits and mixers, flaws, ESP, magical things, daydreaming, fragments, the invisible, dialogues, ideas, the sound of speech, Hollywood, dancing, the night, repetition, detail (language, visual, sound), London Fields, practice before theory, teaching yourself, portable record players, comics, observation, positivity, all kinds of old things, creative intervention, lo-fi printing devices, Japanese design, walking  around East London bumping into friends, colour, signs, serendipity, imagination, Russian dolls, ethnography, energies, sleep, private detection, border crossing, souvenirs, junk shops and thrift stores, blue sky forever
